Kate Young is a photographer based in Toronto Canada. Her recent series of still life are inspired by the light and vignettes of the Dutch masters. These compositions are arranged in a careful manner, emphasized with lively color, distinction and mood. When working in portraiture, she most often shoots in natural environments with natural lighting – evoking an atmosphere of spirit and softness.

Kate also collaborates with the music community, directing, shooting and editing music videos.
